Wokingham Cricket Club's Fantasy League is back for 2026, and for just £7 you can build your squad from the Senior WCC player pool, name a captain, and go toe-to-toe with teammates, family and fellow members across the entire season.

With over 130 players to choose from — spread across all six XIs — and a brand new pricing system that rewards clever picks over simply buying the obvious names, this year's league is designed to create genuine decisions. Players from the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th XIs come at a discount, meaning a savvy manager who spots a lower XI gem could outperform someone who stacks their team with 1st XI talent.

There are new faces in the pool this season too. Luke Georgeson — captain of the Otago Volts and a New Zealand domestic professional — joins as the standout pick, while bowler Max Uttley arrives having taken 39 wickets at an average of 25 last season. All rounder Henry Chapman rounds out the new signings with a century already on his CV.
