12th August 2026 was when the Solar Eclipse occurred in the UK, after a very long time. Our club member, Mr. Doyle presented a fantastic, show and tell, while the eclipse happened in real time.

He had brought along:

+ eclipse sunglasses
+ eclipse safe binoculars
+ eclipse viewing box
+ time lapse pictures of the eclipse.

It was a fantastic effort which allowed others at the club to witness this phenomenon in detail.
