A top order batter who came through from Juniors to Seniors, he was a much loved teammate and friend to many in the club not only for time spent on the field but as much off it as well.
Of course, it was the love shared between him and his brother Jake which resonated with many through the club. Many memories were made including when Harry scored a maiden ton with Jake in the same side.
Both have raised thousands of pounds for charity through cricket matches and Jake’s Marathon this year. Nor should be forgotten the tireless work of parents Adair and Trevor for supporting them achieving these feats. Harry as such will leave a long legacy in the positive impact the money raised will give in supporting causes including Teenage Cancer Trust.
The whole club sends its love and condolences to the Staples Family at this difficult time.
