This year our Sociable Sunday XI side was captained by various players depending on who was available. A big thank you goes to Simon Herrington who worked in the background to get the fixtures arranged.
This year we saw two of our former u9 youth team players ably captaining a senior team again, Jamie Cable and Mohammed Ghafoor.
There were Senior cricket debuts also in the Sunday XI for some of our U12/13s . Namely, Abdullah Adnan; Shaheer Tahir; Ammad Chaudrey; Shaheem Raja, Kaval Singh. The O’keefee brothers also debut for Wokingham CC this year, both making noticeable impact on macthes throughout the season.
We also saw one of our old pros making a comeback, Mark “Mevs” Evans !!
